About the Role:

We seek a dedicated Advocate specializing in civil matters to join our Legal team. The ideal candidate should have strong drafting abilities, courtroom exposure before Civil Courts, NCLT, High Courts, and experience working on civil disputes, commercial contracts, and arbitration matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft plaints, written statements, petitions, affidavits, applications, replies, and other legal documents.
• Represent matters before Civil Courts, NCLT, High Court, and other subordinate forums.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare legal opinions, briefs, and notes.
• Assist in planning litigation strategy and coordinate with external counsels.
• Support company operations with drafting/review of contracts, notices, responses, and compliance documents.
• Participate in meetings with clients, internal stakeholders, and advocates to provide updates and gather inputs.
• Oversee filing, documentation, case tracking, and follow-up of court proceedings.
• Assist in arbitration proceedings including drafting, coordination, and documentation.
• Maintain case files, records, MIS, and ensure timely reporting to management.
• Provide guidance to junior team members/interns when required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil litigation; experience in infrastructure or EPC matters is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedures, legal drafting, evidentiary laws, and litigation processes.
• Experience appearing before Civil Courts, NCLT, High Court, and arbitration forums.
• Proficiency in legal research, analysis, and drafting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational abilities with attention to detail and timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple matters effectively in a team environment.
