Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software applications.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DevOps practices, automation, cloud platforms, and configuration management tools, and will lead a team to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive automation, ensure high availability of infrastructure, optimize deployment processes, and collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications across environments.
Automate build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Ensure pipeline efficiency, reliability, and security.
Define DevOps best practices, standards, and governance policies.
Lead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to design scalable and resilient architectures.
Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure high availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
Monitor infrastructure and applications, implementing alerts, logging, and automated remediation.
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Lead and mentor a DevOps team, ensuring skill development and effective execution.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth deployment and release cycles.
Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and DevOps training for the team.
Ensure security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Conduct vulnerability scanning, patch management, and security audits.

Required Skills

Strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
Expertise in automation tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
Experience with version control systems: Git, Bitbucket, or SVN.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
