Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth accounts receivable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Follow up with customers through emails and calls regarding overdue payments, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes efficiently.
• Record and process incoming payments in the accounting system.
• Prepare regular aging reports and highlight accounts that require attention.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
• Adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and compliance regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective follow-ups with clients.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working with international clients.
• Familiarity with AR aging reports and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to receivables.
