Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable process including invoice entry, pay runs, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to obtain invoices, resolve queries, and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external audits.
• Handle per diem issuance for international travelers in coordination with employees and banking partners.
• Oversee vendor relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closings through accruals, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory/regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, MSME, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall financial operations.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• 4–7 years of accounts payable experience in Indian entities.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounts.
• Familiarity with return-to-work initiatives is a plus for candidates resuming careers after a break.
