This role offers the opportunity to be a key player in ensuring accurate cost management, smooth vendor relations, and efficient financial operations in a fully remote, globally connected environment. You will handle everything from invoice verification to month-end closing, contributing directly to the precision and reliability of financial reporting. Working with international teams, you'll apply cost accounting principles to optimize workflows and maintain compliance. The position demands meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability setting. Accountabilities

In this position, you will be responsible for managing core accounts payable processes, ensuring cost accuracy, and supporting financial close activities. Key accountabilities include:
  • Reviewing, verifying, and processing vendor invoices with accurate cost classification and allocation
  • Matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation for goods and services
  • Applying cost accounting principles to allocate direct and indirect costs in the ERP system
  • Supporting monthly close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and cost variance analysis
  • Reconciling AP-related accounts and preparing reports to support financial accuracy
  • Managing vendor relationships, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments
  • Maintaining accurate vendor records and ensuring compliance with internal policies
  • Using accounting and AP automation tools (such as NetSuite and Tipalti) to optimize workflows and data accuracy
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve AP and cost accounting procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in cost accounting and a proven ability to manage AP processes in a global context. Essential requirements include:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or accounting, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost allocation practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and AP automation platforms
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams across time zones
  • Bonus: Prior experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth companies, familiarity with international payments and multi-currency processes, and the ability to work independently with high ownership
