Accounts Manager

Job Title: Accounts Manager Location: Westdowns – The Heritage Resort, Ooty Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Managing Director Job Summary: The Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations at Westdowns. This includes managing daily accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of IDS software and experience handling accounts in the hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports. Monitor and control budgets, expenses, and cash flow. Reconcile revenue reports from IDS with physical collections and ensure accuracy. Handle audits, taxation, and liaise with auditors and financial institutions. Implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures. Supervise and guide accounting staff, ensuring timely completion of all tasks. Coordinate with the Front Office, F&B, and Housekeeping departments for revenue tracking and expense management. Generate reports from IDS and analyze hotel performance metrics. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in IDS (Hotel ERP) software is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and other accounting tools. Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage a team and meet deadlines under pressure.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
