Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
• Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• [CPA / CA / ACCA] certification or in progress preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
