Witty International School is a reputed educational institution known for academic excellence, holistic development, and a progressive learning environment. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our Accounts Department at our Borivali (West) campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and maintenance of books of accounts.
• Handle Statutory Compliances such as GST, TDS, PF, ESIC and ensure timely filing and payment.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, trial balance, P&L account, and balance sheet.
• Ensure accurate book closure on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Prepare necessary financial reports and statements as per management requirements.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• Manage vendor payments, fee receipts, and petty cash transactions.
• Support management in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

-Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Salary:

Commensurate with qualification and experience.
