Accountant

Accountant Job Role – VFM HondaDaily Accounting Entries Record all day-to-day financial transactions (cash, bank, sales, purchases, etc.) in Tally or ERP system. Bank Reconciliation Match and reconcile all bank statements with internal records on a regular basis. Handling Petty Cash Maintain petty cash book, disburse payments, and ensure timely reconciliation. Customer Receipts & Payments Track customer advances, payments, and outstanding dues; ensure proper receivable management. Vendor Payments Process supplier/vendor bills and ensure timely payments with proper documentation. GST Filing and Compliance Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure input credit matching. TDS Calculation and Filing Deduct and deposit TDS, generate Form 16A, and file quarterly TDS returns. Payroll Processing Coordinate with HR for salary processing, attendance reports, and statutory deductions (PF/ESI). Maintaining Books of Accounts Ensure all ledgers (sales, purchase, cash, bank) are updated and accurate. Monthly Closing Activities Prepare monthly profit & loss reports, trial balance, and support management with MIS. Inventory & Stock Accounting Coordinate with stores/service teams to account for vehicle stock, spares, and consumables. Auditing Support Assist in internal and external audits, and ensure all financial data is audit-ready. Insurance & Loan Settlements Maintain accounting for vehicle insurance and finance loan settlements with banks/NBFCs. Compliance & Documentation Ensure all financial operations comply with company policy and government regulations. Coordination with HO/Branches Work closely with head office or other branch accountants to ensure consistency in financial processes.
