Job Description

Job Title: Accountant (GST Filing & Compliance)Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in GST filing and statutory compliances. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing GST returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting financial reporting. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and records. Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within statutory deadlines. Reconcile GST input tax credit (ITC) with purchase records and GSTR-2B. Handle GST payments, refunds, and adjustments. Ensure compliance with other statutory requirements (TDS, PF, ESI, PT, Income Tax, etc.). Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports. Perform bank reconciliations and vendor/supplier reconciliations. Coordinate with auditors for GST audits and assessments. Maintain documentation for GST filings and respond to GST notices. Support management in financial analysis, budgeting, and tax planning. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting and GST filing. Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and return filing process. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar). Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Good communication and coordination skills.
