Job Description

*Job Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented *Accountant* to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including bookkeeping, taxation, reporting, cost control, and compliance. This role plays a key part in improving company profitability through smart planning, strong controls, and analytical thinking. *Key Responsibilities:* - Maintain accurate day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records.   - Prepare and finalize financial statements, profit & loss reports, and cash flow analysis.   - Handle *GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT filings* and ensure full tax compliance.   - *GST/TDS Filing, ITR Filing, GST Annual Return Filing, GSTR-2B/3B/1 Filing, ESIC Challan Payment, EPF Challan Payment with good English proficiency.*   - Manage monthly budgets, perform cost analysis, and suggest money-saving strategies.   - Prepare MIS reports (stock value, pending payments, expenses, etc.) for faster decision-making.   - Conduct internal checks/audits to identify losses, fraud, or stock mismatches.   - Negotiate with vendors, transporters, and contractors for better pricing and terms.   - Leverage Advanced Excel for financial data analysis and scenario planning.   - Communicate clearly via email and create financial presentations using MS PowerPoint.   - Stay updated on government schemes (MSME benefits, subsidies, interest rebates) and help the company avail them. *Required Qualifications & Skills:* - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / M.Com preferred).   - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in *manufacturing, distribution, or contracting* sectors.   - Proficient in *Tally Prime, **Advanced Excel*, and familiarity with ERP software (SAP, Zoho Books, Busy, etc.).   - Deep understanding of *GST, TDS*, compliance laws, and financial controls.   - Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and vendor negotiation.   - Knowledge of stock management and inventory monitoring. *Bonus Soft Skills (Highly Valued):* - Proactive and takes initiative to improve systems and processes.   - Excellent analytical thinking to detect inefficiencies or profit leakages.   - Effective problem-solving to resolve day-to-day operational issues.   - Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
