Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant who has a proven track record of managing end-to-end financial operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an accountant and hands-on expertise in Zoho Books/Zoho applications for accounting and financial management. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to ensure compliance while supporting the organization’s financial planning and decision-making. Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and legal regulations. Support audits by preparing required documentation and coordinating with auditors. Monitor cash flow, payments, and receivables to maintain healthy financial operations. Process payroll and maintain employee financial records (if applicable). Provide financial insights to management for decision-making. Work extensively on Zoho Books/Zoho Finance Suite for bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and reporting. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CA Inter preferred). Prior experience working as an Accountant with a strong understanding of financial processes. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books/Zoho accounting software is required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance regulations. Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
