Job Description

Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective budget management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills to support the financial health and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) in compliance with GAAP or local accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide financial forecasts to support business planning.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., GST, VAT, or income tax) and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll, calculate employee deductions, and ensure timely payments while maintaining compliance with labor laws.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to audit requirements.
  • Cost Management: Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Software Utilization: Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally) to streamline financial processes and generate reports.
  • Advisory Role: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in an SME environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members, vendors and external stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office hours with occasional overtime during financial reporting periods or tax season.
  • Mandatory to operate from Factory location

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
