Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic manufacturing and retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Cost Accounting:
• Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare cost reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for production costs.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and aging analysis.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation.
• Support the physical inventory count process.
• General Ledger Maintenance:
• Ensure accurate posting of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in daily, weekly, monthly -end and year-end close processes.
• Audit Support:
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist in implementing audit recommendations.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct variance analysis and report on financial performance.
• Provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with Tally & ERP systems.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
