Location: Ghitorni Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic manufacturing and retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies. Cost Accounting: Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare cost reports. Assist in budgeting and forecasting for production costs. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and aging analysis. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation and reconciliation. Support the physical inventory count process. General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure accurate posting of journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist in daily, weekly, monthly -end and year-end close processes. Audit Support: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits. Assist in implementing audit recommendations. Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and report on financial performance. Provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: CPA or CMA certification. Experience with Tally & ERP systems. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
