Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Title:Billing & Accounts Executiv Job Purpose: To ensure accurate and timely billing, maintain proper accounting records, manage accounts receivable/payable, and assist in financial reporting to support smooth business operation Key Responsibilities: 1. Billing & Invoicing Generate sales invoices and delivery challans accurately in Tally / Marg / ERP system Ensure correct GST rates, product quantities, batch numbers, and pricing. Prepare credit notes, debit notes, and return invoices as required. Maintain records of all bills issued and track pending ones. 2. Accounts Management Record all day-to-day accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Payments, Receipts, Journal Entries). Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer ledgers. Maintain cash book and petty cash records. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. 3. GST & Compliance Ensure proper GST entry and filing support. Assist in preparing data for **GSTR-1, GSTR-3B Maintain records for audit and statutory requirements. 4. Receivables & Payables Track customer payments and outstanding balances. Follow up with clients for **payment collection Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. Prepare statements of accounts for customers and suppliers. 5. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with **sales and dispatch teams** for billing accuracy. File and maintain all financial and billing documents properly. Assist auditors during internal or statutory audits. Handle correspondence with clients and vendors related to accounts. Key Skills Required: Knowledge of **Tally / Marg / ERP** systems Strong understanding of **GST and accounting principles** Accuracy in data entry and record keeping Good communication and coordination skills Proficiency in **MS Excel and Word Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting or Finance Experience Required: 3-4 years of experience in billing and accounts (preferred in trading / pharma / distribution sector)
