Job Description

Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes Oversee statutory compliance: GST, TDS, income tax, etc., including filings and audits Coordinate with external auditors; respond to audit queries and ensure smooth audits Create budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; present insights to leadership Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures Mentor, supervise, and develop junior accounting staff Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in ERP / accounting systems Liaise with stakeholders (vendors, banks, tax authorities)
