Job Overview: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of pest control applications and services across residential societies, restaurants, factories, and other commercial sectors. The role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of pest control services, and the ability to build lasting client relationships while achieving sales goals. 1. Sales Strategy and Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets for pest control services, including onetime and recurring treatments. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Maintain and grow a portfolio of key clients, ensuring long-term business relationships. 2. Client Relationship Management: Engage with clients to understand their pest control needs and offer tailored solutions. Manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing any service-related concerns. Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to promote pest control services. 3. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve collective and individual targets. Coordinate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of pest control services. Provide training and support to the sales team on effective sales techniques and product knowledge. 4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market. Conduct market research to identify emerging customer needs and industry standards. Recommend improvements or new service offerings based on market insights. 5. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Track sales performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Use CRM tools to manage client interactions, leads, and sales data. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, aligning with company goals and objectives. 6. Product and Service Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest pest control techniques, products, and regulations. Train clients and the sales team on the benefits, usage, and safety standards of the pest control services provided.
