Account Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage all accounting operations, financial records, and compliance activities of Meruliya Jewels. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and experience in manufacturing/jewelry industry accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Accounting Operations

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries
• Handle cash book & bank book updates.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts.

2. Inventory & Stock Management (Jewelry Specific)

• Maintain gold, silver, diamond, and gemstone inventory records.
• Monitor stock-in/out, karigar issue–receive entries, and wastage tracking.
• Prepare daily production consumption reports.

3. GST & Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Ensure proper GST input credit reconciliation.
• TDS calculation & filing of returns.

4. Vendor & Customer Coordination

• Follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare customer statements and resolve account discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for invoices, payments, and credit notes.

6. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow summary.
• Assist in budgeting and cost analysis.
• Support external/internal audits.

7. Software & Tools

• Knowledge of Excel, GST portal, and banking portals.
• Other accounting software (optional but preferred).

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / relevant degree.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (jewelry/manufacturing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
