Job Description

Core responsibilities Manage financial records: Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Process transactions: Post and process journal entries, and handle vendor payments. Reconcile accounts: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Assist with reporting: Help in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. Ensure compliance: Support internal and external audits, and assist with tax filings and statutory payments. Financial planning: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities. Internal collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Key skills Accounting knowledge: A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Software proficiency: Experience with accounting software like Tally ERP and strong skills in MS Excel are often required. Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate record-keeping. Analytical skills: The ability to analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies. Communication: Clear communication skills to work with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
