We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the LSEG Academy team and lead the requirements management process and be involved in the complete product delivery life cycle from conceptualisation to production. This role will also support the wider Academy team in delivering on its objectives for operational efficiency, through process review, refinement, automation and ongoing management.The role requires working closely with Academy, Engineering and Operations teams to capture, review and build requirements for maintenance and updates of the Academy platforms including LMS and Learning Centre.The role presents an opportunity work in a fast-paced high performance environment to deliver value to our customers.You will have a passion for technology and education, with a strong desire to ensure positive customer outcomes and customer experiences overall.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise between business head of platform, tech PO and tech squad
- Help ratify business requirements and translate to technical user stories
- Support backlog grooming and prioritisation
- Support business validation of new feature development and release process QA
- Bridge resource gaps in small 4 person tech squad, to provide support and maximise teams output
- Support Academy Asana process and workflow, seeking opportunities for cross team collaboration and process enhancement
- Support salesforce data requests and help with data consistency (reporting, bulk updates etc.)
- Data analysis (Excel, SQL, AI) - Help analyse usage trends, search term volumes, search success/failure metrics, identify learning trends/gaps, analyse support ticket trends to identify reoccurring issues and areas for improvement
- Support Elastic Search configuration refinement to improve learning discoverability
- AI Prompt Engineering support
- Report building and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake etc)
- Manage and maintain technical documentation to support LC resiliency and future onboarding
- Help academy identify and implement wider operational efficiencies and automation (Advanced Excel, python, automation)
Qualifications:
- Technical: Good technical skills with curiosity about further development.
- Must be familiar and have advanced expertise using Power BI, Snowflake, Python, and MS Excel.
- AEM configuration and authoring
- Strong analytical skills
- Data mining and manipulation
- Asana workflow mgmt.
- Jira / Confluence process mgmt.
- Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to communicate optimally with system users, customers, and technology leads.
- Interpersonal skills: Able to handle and prioritise numerous tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and be able to spot any issues that may arise with various learning technology tools in use.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and with focus on finding solutions.
