Job Description

The Sales Executive (Wholesale Clothing) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and distributors. The role involves generating leads, closing sales, and ensuring continuous business growth in the fashion and apparel market. The candidate should have deep knowledge of textile trends, fabrics, and market demands in the clothing industry. 🔑 Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new wholesale clients (retailers, distributors, and resellers). Present product catalogs, price lists, and promotional offers to potential buyers. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Negotiate pricing, order quantities, and delivery schedules. 2. Client Relationship ManagementMaintain long-term business relationships with key wholesale customers. Provide excellent after-sales support and handle customer queries or complaints promptly. Visit clients regularly to understand their requirements and gather market feedback. 3. Market Research & AnalysisTrack competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences. Provide regular market insights to the management team for strategic decisions. Suggest new product ideas or seasonal trends based on buyer feedback. 4. Order & Inventory CoordinationCoordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or popular items to management. Follow up on pending payments and ensure smooth billing processes. 5. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare daily sales reports, visit summaries, and order follow-ups. Maintain updated records of clients, leads, and sales pipeline. Report directly to the Sales Manager with performance updates and forecasts. Experience: 1–3 years in wholesale or garment sales preferred. Skills Required: Strong communication and negotiation skills. Good knowledge of fabrics, fashion trends, and clothing categories. Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and digital communication. Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-oriented. Willingness to travel for client meetings and exhibitions. Performance MetricsMonthly and quarterly sales targets achieved. Number of new wholesale accounts opened. Client retention and repeat order rates. Timely payment collections and minimal outstanding.
