Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art form.

The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug. The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta.

Job Description:

1. Website Operations & Quality Control

• Weekly Site Audit: Identify and flag broken links, missing information, and design/UX issues.
• Technical Coordination: Work with the Tech & QA team to resolve bugs, enhance load speed, and optimise mobile experience.
• Campaign Alignment: Ensure homepage updates reflect ongoing campaigns and marketing calendar.

2. Cross-Team Coordination

• Central POC: Act as the link between Category, Marketing, Design, and Development teams.
• SEO & Content Alignment: Work with SEO team to ensure pages are optimised for search and performance.

3. Site Experience & Conversion Improvement

• User Journey Analysis: Track path from homepage to checkout and identify key drop-offs.
• UI/UX Enhancements: Test and propose design improvements through A/B experiments.
• Checkout Optimization: Ensure smooth functioning of wishlist, cart, and checkout features.
• Benchmarking: Regularly review competitor sites for best practices in design, filters, and personalization.

4. Reporting & Growth Tracking

• Performance Dashboard: Weekly tracking of PDP traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, and engagement metrics.
• Update Tracker: Maintain logs for all website changes, releases, and issue resolutions with defined TATs.
• Insights & Recommendations: Present findings and action plans based on website analytics and trends.

5. Process & Documentation

• SOP Development: Create and maintain standard operating procedures for website updates and approvals.
• Version Control: Maintain proper documentation of all changes and releases.
• Asset Management: Ensure design and content uploads follow standard naming, tagging, and quality norms.
