Web Developer

JOB LOCATION: AHMEDABAD ONLY

Role summary

We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to own and evolve our customer-facing website and internal operations portal. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and operations to ship high-quality features — from beautiful listing pages and performant search to automation for bookings, payments, and property onboarding.

This is a hands-on role: you will write code, design APIs, deploy services, and help shape technical decisions.

What you’ll build

• A fast, SEO-friendly public website for villa discovery, direct booking, and content (blogs, guides).
• An internal dashboard for property onboarding, availability management, pricing, and reports.
• Integrations with payment gateways, channel managers, third-party booking tools, analytics, and external/internal APIs.
• Scalable backend services, restful/GraphQL APIs, and secure authentication flows.
• CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and uptime improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and manage APIs (REST/GraphQL) with third‑party and internal systems.
• Develop high‑quality custom web applications (not template-based; ability to build features from scratch).
• Build and optimize dynamic React.js frontends for speed, UX, and SEO.
• Design, implement, and maintain web applications (frontend + backend).
• Translate product requirements into technical design and delivery plans.
• Ensure high performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices on the public site.
• Build robust APIs and database schemas for bookings, users, properties, and payments.
• Implement automated testing and maintain deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain application reliability.
• Collaborate with designers, marketing, and operations to ship features quickly.

Must-have skills & experience

• 3+ years professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or equivalent.
• Strong PHP (Laravel), JavaScript expertise, and strong React.js skills (ES6+). Comfortable with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js preferred).
• Backend experience with Laravel (preferred) or Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar) (Django/Flask + Python acceptable if comfortable with JS frontend).
• Relational database design experience (Postgres or MySQL). Knowledge of ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM, Sequelize, etc.).
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL API design.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar), Docker, and basic infra (S3, RDS, EC2, CloudFront, load balancers).
• Experience with version control (Git), CICD (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / CircleCI), and unit/integration testing.
• Good understanding of web performance, SEO, and accessibility.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small cross-functional team.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Next.js full-static/ISR/SSR patterns for SEO and performance.
• Headless CMS experience (Strapi, Contentful, Sanity) or building in-house CMS.
• Prior experience in travel/hospitality or marketplace platforms.
• Payments & fintech experience (Stripe, Razorpay, PayU).
• Knowledge of analytics and growth tools (Google Analytics/GA4, GTM, Hotjar).
• Experience with search (Algolia, Elasticsearch) and media handling (image optimization, CDN strategies).
