Warehouse & Operations Manager

inventory, fulfillment, dispatch, and daily operational workflows for our fast-growing D2C brand. This role ensures seamless order delivery, optimal inventory accuracy, efficient warehouse management, and smooth coordination between vendors, customer support, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

●Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

SOPs

●Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.

SKU organization

Inventory Control

physical audits

●Manage inward/outward stock movement and update systems in real time.

●Track slow-moving, fast-moving, and non-moving inventory and raise insights to management.

●Coordinate with production, vendors, and QC for stock arrivals and reorders.

Order Fulfillment

●Ensure all orders (website + marketplaces) are processed within SLA.

●Work closely with shipping partners to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

●Reduce RTO % through accurate packaging, labeling, and address verification.

●Oversee packaging quality and ensure consistency with brand standards.

Logistics & Coordination

●Manage relationships with courier partners; negotiate rates as needed.

●Resolve delivery exceptions, lost shipments, and customer escalations quickly.

●Coordinate with the customer service team for order-related queries or delays.

Operations Optimization

●Identify gaps and implement improvements to reduce costs and increase speed.

●Work with tech/ops teams to improve WMS, dashboards, and process automation.

●Prepare weekly MIS reports (inventory, orders, returns, faults, freight costs).

Team Management

●Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff.

●Schedule shifts and oversee productivity, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.

Requirements

●3-5 years experience in warehouse or supply chain operations (preferably D2C/e-commerce).

●Strong knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment systems.

●Hands-on experience with WMS, Excel/Sheets, and courier aggregators (Shiprocket, Delhivery etc.).

●Ability to manage a team and handle high-volume operations.

●Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

●Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing brand environment.
