Job Purpose

Sturlite Electric Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Management Manager for a full-time position in Bhopal. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of logistics and inventory management to optimize operations and improve efficiency and productivity.

Sturlite is a Bangalore based electrical products company founded in 2009 with a vision to provide best in class electrical products to consumers. It is one of the fastest growing companies in this category and deals primarily in lighting (bulbs, LEDs, interior/exterior lighting etc.) and wiring, and it is now entering the category of switches, MCBs, etc. In future Sturlite would also want to enter small electrical appliances like fans, geysers, kitchen appliances etc.It is a rapidly growing company with 2X annual business growth, having established itself in South & West India markets in the last few years, the company is aiming at a pan India presence by this year end and aiming to be one of the major players in the category within the next 3 years.

Major Accountabilities

Qualifications and Skills

Extensive experience in warehouse operations, including supervising and managing warehouse staff to ensure smooth processes (Mandatory skill).Expertise in stock audit techniques, ensuring accurate and timely stock checks (Mandatory skill). Proficiency in inventory management, focusing on maintaining accurate records, tracking inventory levels, and replenishing stock (Mandatory skill).In-depth knowledge of logistics management, understanding transportation, warehousing, and supply chain dependencies.Hands-on experience with SAP, effectively integrating and managing business operations.Competency in the putaway process, organizing inventory in an efficient manner for ease of access and storage.Skills in transportation management, coordinating and optimizing the transport of goods efficiently.Familiarity with wall-to-wall audits to ensure comprehensive inventory accuracy and organizational compliance.

Roles And Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the supply chain operations to ensure the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to end customers.Develop, implement, and monitor strategies aimed at optimizing warehouse operations and inventory control.Conduct regular stock audits to ensure consistency and accuracy of inventory management.Liaise with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions for increased efficiency.Manage and mentor supply chain staff, setting objectives and monitoring performance against key metrics.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in supply chain strategies and objectives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all supply chain activities.
