🏭 Warehouse Manager – Cold & Dry Storage Operations

📍 Location: Ponda, Goa

About the Role:

ByHorse is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our cold and dry storage facility in Ponda. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of cold logistics, experience in software-based inventory management, and a solid understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse activities, maintaining cold chain efficiency, and ensuring accurate, technology-driven inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Cold Storage Operations:

Supervise inbound and outbound operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch.

Ensure temperature-controlled storage for perishable goods and maintain cold chain integrity.

Regularly monitor and record temperature logs for compliance.

Manage space utilization efficiently across cold and dry sections.

Conduct stock audits and ensure accuracy in WMS records.

Technology & Software Management:

Operate and manage warehouse software and WMS for tracking inventory, dispatch, and reporting.

Ensure data accuracy in the system and coordinate with the tech support team for troubleshooting.

Use digital dashboards for MIS reporting and performance tracking.

Team & Process Management:

Supervise and train warehouse staff on handling, cold storage protocols, and software operations.

Maintain safety, hygiene, and quality control across all storage zones.

Plan manpower allocation and daily warehouse tasks for smooth operations.

Coordination & Reporting:

Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and operations teams for order fulfillment.

Prepare daily and monthly reports on stock levels, turnaround time, and equipment maintenance.

Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in warehouse management, cold logistics, or supply chain operations.

Strong knowledge of WMS, software-based inventory management, and cold chain handling.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and data-driven operations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
