Job Description

Job Purpose: To ensure smooth and safe warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials while maintaining accurate documentation and coordination with internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/system. Monitor stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points. Conduct cycle counts and periodic physical stock verification. Reconcile system stock with physical inventory and investigate variances. Track slow-moving, non-moving, expired, or obsolete inventory. Coordinate with warehouse, production, purchase, and finance teams for stock planning. Ensure proper batch tracking and FIFO/FEFO compliance in inventory records. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports. Support internal and external inventory audits. Required Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling. Basic understanding of inventory processes. Good coordination and communication skills. Ability to manage manpower and ensure operational discipline. Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel. Educational Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. Work Experience: 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations. Manufacturing or chemical industry experience preferred. ERP exposure is an added advantage. KPIs: On-time inward and outward material movement Accuracy of warehouse documentation FIFO/FEFO compliance Safety and housekeeping audit scores Turnaround time for dispatch and receipts
