Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Leadership:

    • Develop and execute long-term sales strategies that align with company-wide goals.

    • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance to optimize sales performance.

    • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment of strategies and go-to-market initiatives.

    • Lead change management and organizational initiatives to drive growth and scalability.


  • Operational Excellence:

    • Design, implement, and optimize scalable sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across all sales teams.

    • Oversee key operational areas such as territory design, quota setting, and compensation plan development to motivate the sales team effectively.

    • Manage the sales operations budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.

    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

    • Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including route planning, vehicle tracking, and freight management.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations and ensure timely delivery of products.

    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics performance metrics such as on-time delivery rates, inventory levels, etc.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to transportation regulations, safety standards, environmental norms.

    • Strategically plan and manage primary logistics, Depot coordination, transportation long terms / short terms agreement.

    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers

    • Logistics planning, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight cost negotiation.

    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

    • Oversee communication with vendors with suppliers cross functional internal department coordination like finance and commercial.

    • Deals with the claims of goods that were damaged or lost in transit.

    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and build comprehensive, data-driven reports and dashboards for executive decision-making.

    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommend corrective actions to optimize sales performance.

    • Improve sales forecasting accuracy and predictability through rigorous pipeline management and data modeling.

  • Team Leadership & Enablement:

    • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales operations team.

    • Oversee sales enablement and training programs to ensure sales teams have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
