Job Title: Vice President - Human Resources (VP HR)

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

We seek a strategic VP HR for our client with proven expertise in recruitment vendor management across fulltime, executive, and contractual roles, ideally honed in high-volume environments. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will overhaul our TA ecosystem to fuel aggressive scaling in Bangalore's competitive IT talent market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead HR strategy with a core focus on

    recruitment vendor management

    : Select, onboard, and performance-manage vendors for fulltime IT hires (developers, AI/ML engineers), executive searches (C-suite, VPs), and contractual staffing (project-based, gig roles).
  • Optimize vendor ecosystems for cost-efficiency, SLAs, and quality: Negotiate MSAs, track KPIs (fill ratios >90%, TAT <40 days), diversify sourcing via RPOs, staffing firms, and niche executive networks.
  • Drive end-to-end TA transformation: Campus/lateral hiring for fulltime, headhunting for executives, bulk contractual ramps; integrate ATS, employer branding, and metrics to cut cost-per-hire by 20%+.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years in HR leadership

    , with

    10+ years specializing in recruitment vendor management

    for fulltime, executive, and contractual roles in FMCG corporates (e.g., HUL, Nestle, Colgate).
  • 7+ years as VP/Head TA or HR

    : Track record managing 20+ vendors annually, handling 2000+ hires/year across role types; prior IT/tech exposure a strong plus.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR; certifications in TA/vendor mgmt (e.g., SHRM-CP, vendor audit expertise); deep knowledge of compliance for contractual labor (Contract Labour Act).


Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Mastery of

    vendor lifecycle

    : RFP processes, quarterly audits, incentive structures, risk mitigation for fulltime permanence, executive confidentiality, and contractual compliance.
  • Data-driven TA: Analytics for vendor ROI, diversity sourcing, Bangalore market intel (e.g., negotiating ₹20–40 LPA for senior AI talent via vendors).
  • Strategic influencer: C-suite partnership on org scaling, hybrid culture building, attrition control via superior vendor-delivered onboarding.
