Job Description

Role Overview: You are being sought after to take on the role of Accounts & Finance Lead, responsible for leading the finance function and ensuring financial discipline throughout the organization. Reporting directly to the Promoter, your duties will involve overseeing accounting, compliance, financial planning, fundraising, and strategic initiatives like IPO preparedness and credit rating management. Your strong technical expertise, business acumen, and proactive approach will be essential in maintaining the financial health and fostering sustainable growth of the company. Key Responsibilities: - **Accounting & Reporting** - Supervise day-to-day accounting operations to guarantee accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with MIS reports. - Ensure timely closure of books and reconciliation of accounts. - **Finance, Fundraising & Treasury Management** - Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund flow to ensure liquidity. - Lead fundraising efforts encompassing debt, equity, and structured financing. - Collaborate with banks, rating agencies, and financial institutions for credit rating, loan facilities, and investor relations. - Assist in IPO readiness by aligning processes, financial disclosures, and regulatory compliance. - **Compliance & Audit** - Ensure adherence to statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and other relevant regulations. - Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for timely audits. - Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory and legal purposes. - **Budgeting, Cost Control & ERP Implementation** - Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. - Monitor production costs and implement cost optimization measures. - Drive ERP implementation, automation, and digitalization of finance processes. - **Leadership & Collaboration** - Mentor the finance team to enhance efficiency and capability. - Collaborate with senior management and the promoter to shape financial strategy and facilitate decision-making. - Provide timely and precise financial insights for business planning. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. - 8-12 years of progressive experience in accounts & finance, preferably within the manufacturing/industrial sector. - Proven expertise in fundraising (equity/debt), managing credit rating processes, and IPO preparation. - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, compliance, and financial regulations. - Hands-on experience in ERP implementation and financial system automation. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive business growth.
