About the team This hire is for a newly formed, ‘Climate Studio’ team at Alt Carbon, in Bangalore. We have classic 0-1 problems to solve. Climate change is real. We’re on a mission to remove 5 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030. Every organisation must play its part to meet net-zero emissions by 2050. About the role The Content editor will report to the Head of Brand. This is a hands-on role, and will involve writing, editing, creative thinking, and ideating on strategies to make climate change real and actionable. The content will be primarily for our external owned media channels, helping build the brand quotient for Alt Carbon. The ideal candidate should be adept at creative writing, comfortable with writing, and manage production end-to-end. The person will also have an additional hire to assist in our content efforts. At Alt Carbon, we believe content is the mainstay of our brand strategy. The Climate Studio team will be driven wholly by content and use it as the lever to shape our brand. Therefore, this is a critical hire that will shape the brand in the coming years. What you will do Owning all content that goes out from Alt Carbon on the website, social media, videos, blogs, research reports, bylined articles Elevate the quality of content, ideate, strategize on content to enhance branding efforts Set an editorial strategy to ensure content is consistent and compelling Conceptualise campaigns across all social media Write bylined articles that are forward-looking with regard to climate change, and policies Measure and analyse what’s working and what isn’t, with regard to the brand’s content marketing efforts Chart out an editorial strategy to ensure consistent and compelling storytelling Measure and analyse what’s working and what isn’t, with regard to the brand’s content marketing efforts. What you will need Should have at least 5+ years experience - samples of past work is mandatory . The ability to use data and research to shape a narrative - samples of past work helps. About the Role We are hiring pharma scientists to bring their analytical precision into a new frontier — carbon removal science. If you've worked in GMP labs, run elemental impurity testing, or handled titrations and instrument calibrations in a regulated setup, your skills are exactly what climate science needs. Alt Carbon is building India’s most advanced Earth Sciences lab — and we need people who know how to run tight protocols, think in SOPs, and obsess over clean data. You’ll work on analyzing rocks, soils, water, and biochar samples to measure elemental movement and quantify CO₂ removal. Why Pharma Folks? Pharmaceutical scientists understand discipline, process, and validation. You’ve been trained to care about precision, batch integrity, lab hygiene, and reproducibility — the exact culture we need to build scalable, verifiable carbon removal systems. About the Role Alt Carbon is building a new generation of scientific infrastructure to support high-integrity Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) through Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW). At the heart of this effort is a robust, quantitative approach to modeling weathering reactions, tracking elemental fluxes, and calculating real-world net CO? removal. We are hiring a Quantitative Research Associate to help build, test, and scale the core mathematical and statistical models that underpin our science. Youll work closely with geochemists, soil scientists, AI engineers, and field teams to turn messy physical data into reliable, registry-grade CDR numbers.
