  • Role Overview:
  • The Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Vehicle Integration will be responsible for leading and managing the integration of wheeled loaders within the tractor platform. This role requires deep technical expertise in vehicle integration, systems engineering, and cross-functional coordination to ensure product reliability, performance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the complete vehicle integration program for wheeled loaders in the tractor business.
  • Drive concept-to-production execution, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Manage system-level design, validation, and integration (powertrain, hydraulics, electrical, chassis, and control systems).
  • Ensure compatibility across sub-systems (engine, transmission, hydraulics, braking, steering, electronics, cabin, and attachments).
  • Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R and validation planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality).
  • Support homologation, compliance, and regulatory requirements for wheeled loaders.
  • Lead vendor and supplier technical discussions for critical aggregates.
  • Monitor project cost, weight, timelines, and performance targets.
  • Mentor and build capability within the engineering team.
  • Interface with customers and marketing for product requirement finalization (PRD/URS).
  • Ensure alignment with company’s business strategy, profitability, and quality benchmarks.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • B.E./B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience in tractor, construction equipment, or off-highway machinery development, with strong exposure to vehicle integration.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, driveline, structural aggregates, and control systems.
  • Proven track record of leading large integration projects (preferably wheeled loader or similar off-highway equipment).
  • Strong knowledge of CAE, CAD tools, product validation, and homologation standards.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
