• Role Overview:
• The Vehicle Integration Platform Head will be responsible for leading the end-to-end integration of major tractor systems (engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical & electronics, chassis, and implements) into a cohesive platform. This role ensures seamless coordination between design, validation, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance, cost-optimized, and regulatory-compliant tractor platforms.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Platform Development & Integration:
• Lead the development of modular vehicle platforms for tractors across multiple HP ranges.
• Oversee integration of engine, transmission, hydraulics, electrical, electronics, and chassis systems.
• Ensure design compatibility, reliability, and performance across all subsystems.
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
• Collaborate with design, testing, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and service teams.
• Drive system-level trade-offs and resolve conflicts among functional teams.
• Align platform strategy with business goals, cost targets, and market requirements.
• Innovation & Standards:
• Develop and implement common integration standards and best practices.
• Foster innovation in platform architecture, modularity, and vehicle technologies.
• Benchmark global technologies and incorporate relevant solutions.
• Testing & Validation:
• Define and monitor vehicle-level validation and durability test plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory norms (emission, safety, ergonomics, etc.).
• Drive issue resolution during prototype and field trials.
• Project Management:
• Manage platform timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Monitor project progress and escalate risks with mitigation plans.
• Support new product development (NPD) and product lifecycle management (PLM).
• Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of tractor systems (powertrain, hydraulics, electrical, electronics, chassis, ergonomics).
• Expertise in vehicle integration, system engineering, and validation processes.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools, system modeling, and DFMEA/PFMEA practices.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination ability.
• Qualifications & Experience:
• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Agricultural Engineering.
• 17+ years of experience in product development, with at least 10+ years in vehicle integration or platform leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing tractor or off-highway vehicle programs.
• Exposure to global regulatory standards and advanced integration methodologies.

• On-time delivery of new platforms and tractor variants.
• Achievement of cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Cross-platform standardization and modularity achieved.
