Responsibilities:
Looking for project head from steel industry prefrence who worked on green field projects.
Project Head will oversee the entire lifecycle of Greenfield Project from conception to completion. This includes managing government liaison activities, land acquisition, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the design and construction. The role requires strategic leadership in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a proven track record in detailed design management, project planning, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, objectives, and strategies for Greenfield projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and risk assessments to inform project decisions.
- Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget allocations.
Project Development and Execution:
- Oversee all aspects of project development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to execute project plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address potential roadblocks and bottlenecks.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and evaluate individual and team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Government Liaisoning:
-Establish and maintain effective relationships with key government bodies and stakeholders at local, state, and national levels.
-Represent the company in discussions with government officials and agencies to ensure smooth project approval processes.
Land Dealing / Compliance & Regulatory Clearances:
-Lead all aspects of land acquisition, including negotiation, purchase, lease agreements, and title clearances.
-Coordinate with legal teams to resolve land ownership issues, disputes, and compensation matters.
-Manage the process of obtaining all necessary regulatory clearances, such as environmental impact assessments (EIAs), safety certifications, and construction permits.
-Work closely with the legal department to resolve any issues related to regulatory or compliance concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Minimum 22-30 years of experience in project management, with a focus on construction and greenfield projects.
Strong expertise in detailed design management, project planning, and budgeting.
Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through to successful delivery.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
