Project Head OHE Projects

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead, plan, and execute Railway OHE projects as per timelines and approved specifications.
• Ensure adherence to Railway standards, safety norms, and quality protocols.
• Manage multiple project sites and teams simultaneously across regions.
• Conduct site reviews, monitor progress, and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.

2. Financial Management

• Manage cash flow planning, allocation, and utilization for ongoing projects.
• Take full responsibility for project-level

  P&L

  , ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.

3. Procurement & Supply Chain

• Oversee procurement of OHE materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate to achieve cost and quality advantages.

4. Team Management & Coordination

• Lead and mentor project engineers, site teams, and support functions.
• Ensure seamless coordination between design, planning, procurement, and execution teams.
• Build a high-performance culture with strong communication and reporting practices.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise effectively with Railway authorities, consultants, and clients.
• Address approvals, inspections, and compliance requirements proactively.
• Prepare and present progress reports, MIS updates, and escalation summaries to management.

6. Strategic Contribution

• Contribute to business expansion plans and support bidding for new OHE projects.
• Set project execution strategies and implement best practices.
• Demonstrate ambition to grow within the organization and drive overall project excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum

  10 years of experience

  in Railway Overhead Electrification (OHE)projects.
• Strong understanding of Railway standards, OHE installation practices, and safety norms.
• Proven expertise in managing end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to commissioning.
• Excellent financial acumen with experience in managing

  cash flow and P&L

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
