SYSTRA's Systems business in India offers extensive design and project management capabilities in power supply and overhead lines for both AC & DC traction, including third rail systems. They have a proven track record of executing prestigious domestic and international projects, alongside involvement in various design review and detailed project reports for major metro and rapid rail transit systems across India and Bangladesh. Missions/Main Duties As a Senior Engineer Power Supply, you will be responsible for: Coordination with GC / K RIDE in the tender award process for PST for Corridor C-2 and C-4 . For Corridor C1 and C3, preparation of Tender Documents, Addendums, and clarifications to contractors . Supporting in the finalization of Power Supply design , among other related tasks. Required Profile & Skills Education: Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a reputed institution. Experience: 8 years of overall railway electrification experience , including 4 years of PSI (Power Supply Installation) work on 25 kV OHE (Overhead Equipment) Metro Rail, Rapid Rail Transit, and High-Speed Rail projects. Communication: Excellent written and oral English communication skills. Collaboration: Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences. Problem-Solving: Ability to problem-solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices. Leadership: Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority. Role & responsibilities Conduct foot surveys for pegging plans and prepare LOPs in open routes and station yards. Prepare material assessments based on BOQ and approved drawings. Execute OHE foundations, anchor blocks, mast erection, and upright installation as per approved LOPs and CSDs. Perform erection of OHE components including SPS, brackets, guy rods, isolators, portal booms, catenary and contact wires, and counterweights. Oversee and coordinate TOWER CAR inspection activities with the client. Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR) for client billing and monthly bills for subcontractors (foundation/erection). Allocate and supervise daily work activities of OHE supervisors and manpower in coordination with clients. Plan and arrange traffic and power blocks with Indian Railways for safe execution of work. Manage site inventory and ensure timely procurement and reconciliation of OHE materials. Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Review and validate Location Plans, Cross Section Drawings (CSD) and erection reports. Preferred candidate profile Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in OHE or railway electrification projects. Sound knowledge of Indian Railway OHE standards and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans. Prepare agenda for the meetings, review the progress of works, prepare the MOM of the meetings held and prepare the MIS reports weekly/monthly as per the formats of the company. Continually develop expertise and new market trends and implement in the projects to save the organizational interest. Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management. Follow and make the vendors follow all the safety and statutory norms. Responsible for Quality, Timelines and Cost of the Project. Shall follow the ISO systems. Any other duties/ Responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time. Desired Candidate Profile B. Tech/B.E/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 8 years of experience in MEP (Plumbing, Electrical, Firefighting & HVAC) in Railways/ metros/Industrial projects. Experience in Analysing technical drawings, interpreting Specifications, and determining MEP requirement. Experience in Planning, managing, and monitoring all assigned MEP works.
