The role will also involve managing the aeroponic mini-tuber potato seed production facility and introducing new potato germplasm from PepsiCo Rhinelander, USA to PepsiCo India. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership:Develop and manage a team of professionals, to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to standards for mini-tuber/product quality, purity, hygiene, and safety for uninterrupted operations. Production Management: Oversee mini-tuber production and delivery to meet domestic and export requirements. 4. Facility Management:Manage the aeroponic mini-tuber potato seed production facility, including importing new potato germplasm with support from National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), New Delhi & Central Potato Research Institute (CPRI) Shimla, HP. Protocol Development: Develop protocols for maintaining germplasm of existing and new clones, ensuring disease/virus-free mini tubers through pathological testing. TPM Implementation:Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) culture for effective planning and achievement of production targets, aligned with AOP and PSP. Capacity Expansion: Expand facility capacity by establishing key performance indicators for cost and production efficiencies, while meeting statutory requirements and future/PSP needs. Germplasm Bank Maintenance: Maintain the germplasm bank and facility according to international standards. Training and Support: Develop training manuals and provide technical support and training to field staff for extension services. HR Management: Recruit, lead, manage, and direct a team for the Zahura facility, conducting regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and identifying development opportunities in consultation with HR. Responsibilities: Looking for project head from steel industry prefrence who worked on green field projects. Project Head will oversee the entire lifecycle of Greenfield Project from conception to completion. This includes managing government liaison activities, land acquisition, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the design and construction. The role requires strategic leadership in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and in adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements. This role requires a proven track record in detailed design management, project planning, and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Strategy: - Develop comprehensive project plans, objectives, and strategies for Greenfield projects. - Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and risk assessments to inform project decisions. - Define project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget allocations. Project Development and Execution: - Oversee all aspects of project development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to execute project plans. - Monitor project progress, identify and address potential roadblocks and bottlenecks. - Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Land Dealing / Compliance & Regulatory Clearances: -Lead all aspects of land acquisition, including negotiation, purchase, lease agreements, and title clearances. -Coordinate with legal teams to resolve land ownership issues, disputes, and compensation matters. -Manage the process of obtaining all necessary regulatory clearances, such as environmental impact assessments (EIAs), safety certifications, and construction permits. -Work closely with the legal department to resolve any issues related to regulatory or compliance concerns. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus. Minimum 22-30 years of experience in project management, with a focus on construction and greenfield projects. Strong expertise in detailed design management, project planning, and budgeting. Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through to successful delivery. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Lead green field, brown field & industrial projects from concept to commissioning.
