Job Summary:

Stellarix is looking for a talented and passionate Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to be a pivotal part of our product development team. This role is ideal for a proactive and empathetic designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to own the end-to-end design process. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences for both our web application and mobile platforms (iOS and Android). Working closely as a sole designer within a development-focused team, you will translate complex problems into elegant design solutions that delight our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various user research activities to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points deeply.
• Develop and refine user personas, user journeys, and empathy maps to guide design decisions and ensure a user-centric approach.
• Design clear and logical information architecture, sitemaps, and user flows to define website structure and navigation for both web and mobile.
• Create low-to-high fidelity wireframes and sketches to communicate layout, functionality, and interaction concepts effectively.
• Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows, interactions, and design concepts for internal feedback and user testing.
• Plan and execute usability tests, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data.
• Produce high-fidelity UI designs, including detailed layouts, typography, color palettes, iconography, and graphic elements, ensuring visual consistency across all platforms (web, iOS, Android).
• Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency in design and development.
• Work very closely and effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements and technical constraints into robust design solutions.
• Clearly articulate design decisions, rationale, and user insights to the team, fostering a shared understanding of the user experience.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews), contributing design perspectives and insights.
• Proactively identify and address UX/UI challenges, advocating for the user throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance our product/website design continuously.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3-5 years of proven professional experience

  as a UI/UX Designer for digital products, specifically with experience in both web applications and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

• Fluency in spoken English

• A strong and well-organized portfolio

  showcasing your end-to-end UI/UX design process, problem-solving abilities, and visual design skills across web and mobile projects.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools

  (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools). The ability to adapt to and choose the right tool for the job is key.
• Strong experience in designing UI/UX for complex platforms.
• Strong understanding and practical application of user-centered design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
• Excellent visual design skills, including a keen eye for layout, typography, color theory, and an understanding of platform-specific UI guidelines (Material Design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines).
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to validate design hypotheses.
• Ability to create clear wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Ability to work effectively and build strong relationships with developers and product teams.
• A genuine desire to understand and solve user problems.
• Ability to analyze complex challenges and devise elegant, user-friendly solutions.
• Ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
