Job Summary:

We are seeking a US Accountant to join our finance and compliance team in Ahmedabad. The role involves bookkeeping, U.S. accounting, payroll, tax compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting using cloud-based accounting tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting, exposure to U.S. GAAP, and the ability to work with international clients in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for U.S. clients.
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
• Assist in preparing and filing U.S. individual and corporate tax returns.
• Handle U.S. payroll processing and related compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with clients on annual filings, reports, and incorporation requirements.
• Generate monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all client deliverables.
• Stay updated with latest U.S. accounting and taxation rules.

Role Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA-Inter/CPA preferred).
• Experience: 2–4 years in U.S. accounting / tax / bookkeeping.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting tools.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, taxation, and payroll compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with international clients.
• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with ownership mindset.
