US Account Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 900000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 9-12 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP
• Maintain accurate ledgers, perform account reconciliations, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and payments
• Manage banking transactions and ensure proper documentation for all financial activities
• Support audit preparation, ensuring all required records and reconciliations are available
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting discrepancies and queries
• Verify financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external standards
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting policies, systems, and best practices
• Ensure proper maintenance of QuickBooks records and generate periodic financial summaries
• Provide timely financial insights to support management decision-making and business performance tracking
  

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to US GAAP and international clients
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Proven expertise in bookkeeping, finalization of accounts, and compliance reporting
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Proactive, process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and professionalism in handling financial data
