Urban Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Fresher Urban Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of urban design principles, sustainable development, and spatial design. This role involves working on master planning, transportation, land use planning, and urban redevelopment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of urban design strategies, master plans, and zoning regulations.
• Conduct site analysis, research, and feasibility studies for urban development projects.
• Support in GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and data visualization.
• Work on 3D modeling, conceptual drawings, and presentation materials using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and government agencies on urban planning initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, policy recommendations, and project proposals.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, public consultations, and urban policy discussions.
• Stay updated with global trends in smart cities, sustainable urban design, and transit-oriented development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in urban design, Urban Planning, or related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in urban design
• Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, land-use regulations, and environmental sustainability.
• Excellent spatial analysis, research, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in smart cities, mobility planning, and community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship experience in urban planning, municipal projects, or real estate development.
• Understanding of public policy, infrastructure planning, and transport systems.
