We are currently hiring for a client who is looking for a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager in the hotel industry. Role Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the hotel and ensure high-quality service. Manage and develop the hotel staff by providing training and support. Implement effective strategies to drive revenue and improve profitability. Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction. Assist in budgeting and financial management to optimize operational costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies. Evaluate and monitor the performance of the hotel amenities and services. Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance. Oversee inventory management and supplier relationships. Prepare reports on occupancy, sales, and expenses for management. Organize staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Lead staff meetings to communicate updates and gather feedback. Work closely with senior management to align operations with business objectives. Qualifications Proven experience as a Unit Manager or similar role in the hotel industry. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. In-depth knowledge of customer service standards and practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in budget preparation and financial management. Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies specific to the hotel industry. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Flexibility to work various shifts and hours as needed. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus. Certification in hospitality management is preferred.
