UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer at WorkBuds, you will be responsible for designing user-friendly interfaces and experiences across our digital platforms. You will work closely with product managers, developers, marketers, and content teams to transform complex ideas into simple, engaging, and impactful user experiences.

Your work will directly influence how learners interact with our courses, platform, and brand—making this a pivotal, high-impact role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and visually appealing UI for:
• Learning Management System (LMS) dashboards and course pages
• Mobile and web applications
• Marketing landing pages and microsites
• Onboarding flows, forms, and interactive modules
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to refine designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth handoff and pixel-perfect implementation.
• Maintain brand consistency while enhancing usability and accessibility.
• Translate data insights, user feedback, and business goals into design improvements.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, design systems, and emerging edtech innovations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in

  Figma

  and/or

  Adobe XD

  (wireframing, prototyping, UI design).
• Solid understanding of

  UX principles

  , information architecture, and user flows.
• Strong grasp of

  visual design fundamentals

  – typography, color theory, layout, and grid systems.
• Experience designing

  responsive, mobile-first interfaces

  .
• Ability to present and defend design decisions with clarity.
• Strong time management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in

  motion graphics, micro-interactions, or animations

  .
• Familiarity with

  HTML/CSS basics

  for better developer collaboration.
• UI/UX experience in

  edtech, SaaS, or youth-focused startups

  .
• Exposure to

  design systems

  and

  component-based workflows
