Creative Content Writer

Role Overview

you’ll help shape how WorkBuds talks to the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write creative content for:
• Brand campaigns and launch narratives
• Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
• Website and landing pages
• Ads, banners, and microcopy
• Video scripts, mentor/student stories, testimonials
• Emails, onboarding copy, and in-app notifications
• Collaborate with design, video, and marketing teams to create content-driven visual experiences
• Bring a fresh, edgy, and authentic tone that resonates with Gen Z and young working professionals
• Turn tech-heavy topics (like MERN Stack, Python, AI/ML) into accessible, interesting content
• Brainstorm campaign ideas and lead end-to-end content execution

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a copywriter, content creator, or creative writer (preferably in EdTech, D2C, or tech/startup space)
• Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills
• Strong understanding of content for digital channels (social media, video, landing pages, etc.)
• A creative thinker with the ability to ideate viral, out-of-the-box content
• A solid grasp of trends in youth culture, digital behavior, and tech education
• Ability to work with deadlines and across multiple campaigns/projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

• Background in journalism, advertising, or creative writing
• Experience with reels, short-form video scripts, meme marketing, or viral social posts
• Worked with fast-growing brands (startups, D2C, creator-led platforms)
• Strong portfolio of writing samples across tones (fun, inspirational, persuasive)
