WayWiz is a tech-first travel concierge dedicated to simplifying visas, holiday packages, and corporate travel. We're looking for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer to join us on a contractual basis. In this pivotal role, you will work directly with our founder to shape the visual identity and user experience of our digital products. You will be instrumental in building our design foundation from the ground up, translating user needs and business goals into intuitive and beautiful interfaces. • Research & Analysis:

  Conduct in-depth competitor and user research to identify market trends, user pain points, and opportunities for innovation.

• Design & Prototyping:

  Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for our web-based travel products and marketing landing pages.

• Brand & Design System:

  Collaborate with the founder to establish and document a foundational design framework, style guide, and visual language that ensures consistency and scalability.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with the marketing team to align brand voice and tone across all digital assets, including the website, landing pages, and outreach campaigns, ensuring a cohesive user journey.

• User-Centric Iteration:

  Gather and analyze user feedback to iterate on designs and continuously improve the user experience.

• Strategic Contribution:

  Translate complex ideas and requirements into simple, elegant, and user-friendly design solutions that meet business objectives.

• Proven 2+ yrs experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and work on web applications and marketing pages.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including user research, usability testing, and wireframing.
• Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color theory, and layout.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Experience in the travel or e-commerce industry is a plus.

Success in this role will be measured by:

• Conversion Rate:

  Measurable improvement in conversion rates on key user funnels (e.g., booking forms, lead generation pages, sign-ups).

• User Engagement:

  Increase in user engagement metrics such as session duration and pages per session, and a decrease in bounce rates on redesigned pages.

• Task Success Rate:

  Improved success rate for users completing key tasks, as validated through usability testing.

• Project Delivery:

  Timely delivery of high-quality design assets and prototypes according to project timelines.

• Design Consistency:

  Successful implementation and adoption of the design framework across new and existing digital properties.
