Job Description

Job Title: True Value Manager

Location: Thakurpukur

Department: True Value (Pre-Owned Cars Division)

Reporting To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The True Value Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete operations of the Maruti Suzuki True Value division. This includes procurement, valuation, reconditioning, sales, and delivery of pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, customer relationship, and business management skills to achieve sales and profitability targets while maintaining the brand’s high standards of transparency and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Operations & Sales

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the True Value outlet.
  • Drive sales of pre-owned cars and achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Plan and implement effective marketing strategies to generate leads.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, evaluation, and refurbishment teams.

2. Procurement & Evaluation

  • Oversee vehicle procurement from customers and other sources.
  • Ensure accurate vehicle evaluation as per True Value standards.
  • Negotiate and finalize purchase deals ensuring profitability.

3. Customer Experience

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalations effectively.
  • Ensure transparent and customer-friendly buying and selling processes.
  • Monitor customer feedback and take corrective actions when necessary.

4. Team Management

  • Lead and motivate the sales, evaluation, and service teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training as required.
  • Maintain a positive and performance-driven work culture.

5. Inventory & Documentation

  • Manage stock levels, vehicle display, and documentation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with RTO, insurance, and finance requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and reports as per company standards.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, profit margins, and market trends.
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Suggest process improvements and business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the automobile industry (preferably in used car business).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle evaluation, documentation, and finance processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems (DMS).

Working Hours:

  • As per showroom timings.
  • Weekly off: Sunday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
