True Value Manager (TVM)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification:

    Preferably MBA in Marketing/Sales
  • Age:

    3035 years
  • Experience:

    • 10–15 years in sales, with managerial experience
    • Preferably from the automobile or consumer durables industry

Key Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of the Pre-owned Car / Automobile Industry and market competition
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and selling processes
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to plan marketing activities in line with regional strategies
  • Leadership, negotiation, and team management skills
  • Skill in motivating and developing subordinates
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of digital tools and computer applications

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Ensure adherence to MSIL-defined SOPs and dealership processes
  • Uphold True Value brand values in all dealership operations
  • Maintain a delightful customer experience
  • Source vehicles in line with customer demand and market trends
  • Manage inventory effectively:
    • Stock days, model mix, lead times, refurbishment cost control, and timely liquidation

Sales & Profitability:

  • Monitor daily performance vs. targets
  • Drive dealership profitability as per annual goals
  • Assist ROs in deal closures and price corrections as needed
  • Ensure adherence to the “First Time, Right Price” policy

Team & HR Management:

  • Conduct daily morning briefings with all team members: SRO, RO, CCM, CCE, Valet, Security, etc.
  • Discuss daily plans, review previous performance, and prepare for unexpected situations
  • Support recruitment, salary finalization, incentive planning, training, and welfare schemes
  • Ensure best HR practices to improve employee retention

Customer Handling:

  • Manage customer complaints related to pricing, refurbishment, and certification
  • Handle 2nd level escalations effectively
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring PSF feedback and ensure permanent resolution

Marketing & Business Development:

  • Plan and organize POC events (for sourcing and selling)
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for activities that generate quality enquiries
