Job Description

Role Overview: As the District Training & Personnel Development Manager (PDM) at Expeditors, you will play a crucial role in driving the employee development cycle, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the district. Your responsibilities will include managing recruitment processes, conducting interviews, developing training programs, and supporting employee development goals in collaboration with the districts" management team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Smart Recruiters process from posting to closing job adverts. - Support the interview process and conduct interviews when necessary. - Develop recruiting tools as needed. - Ensure a consistent and effective onboarding experience for new hires and transfers. - Create training plans focusing on employee development and growth. - Deliver relevant training consistently, including global, regional, and district requirements. - Address employee skills and knowledge gaps in a timely and efficient manner. - Act as a Career Coach and support upskilling of people managers. - Encourage frequent employee feedback and development. - Advocate for the creation and fostering of development plans for all employees. - Assist in increasing career progression and mobility opportunities. - Support succession planning and talent development strategy implementation. - Implement and execute employee recognition programs. - Monitor retention and employee satisfaction to support improvement plans.
