Training and Placement Officer

As a Placement Officer, your role involves a mix of career counseling and recruiting duties primarily in college and university settings. You will be responsible for assisting students in their career development and coordinating with the institution's staff and local employers to facilitate student placements. Key Responsibilities: - Meet Placement & internship targets for Product Design, UX Design, and Communication students. - Maintain corporate relations and ensure industry engagement for placements in MIT Design programs. - Develop contacts with corporate and industries to secure internships and placements for students. - Implement programs such as Guest Lectures, Industry Tie-ups, Panel Discussions, and Workshops to raise awareness about the educational programs. - Coordinate with students for career counseling, resume preparation, and job interview readiness. - Maintain an updated database and trackers for client contacts, visit plans, and student-wise placement/internship progress reports. - Research and analyze workforce databases to identify trends in workforce needs and salary for effective student placement strategies. Qualifications: - Graduate/Post Graduate Degree with excellent communication and team skills. - 3+ years of experience in Educational/Design Institutes as a Placement Manager/Officer. - Strong organizational skills and problem-solving attitude. - Proficiency in research and analytical approach. - Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and address student-related issues effectively. - Excellent problem-solving, assessment, and decision-making skills. - Outstanding administrative, verbal, and written communication skills. - Team-oriented with the ability to build relationships internally and externally at various levels.,
